Kishan
Kishan is the second of three children of a daily wage worker, with an elder brother and a younger sister. All three live at Rakshana Charitable Trust. Hailing from a very poor family with no mother and lacking basic facilities, the children were struggling for food. Education was not even an option for them. The father is a daily wage worker who chooses to work sporadically. On the days he doesn’t go to work, there is no food at home. His wife, the mother of the three children, abandoned the family, and her whereabouts are unknown. The father chose to remarry. He wanted to secure the children’s lives with a good education, so he approached Rakshana Charitable Trust seeking help. After due diligence, all three children were taken in. Kishan came to the Trust in 2015 when he was seven years old. His dream is to become a Pilot.
